USAV goes by both grade level and age. To be sure which level a player will play next year, use the AGE CALCULATOR (be sure to set to 2026-27 season).
* The date for the cutoff on age is July 1st for each grade level. So players (older for their class) born in June (or before) will have to play UP a level than other people in their grade.
12s: next year - 6th grade or younger AND born on or after July 1, 2014
13s: next year - 7th grade or younger AND born on or after July 1, 2013
14s: next year - 8th grade or younger AND born on or after July 1, 2012
15s: next year - 9th grade or younger AND born on or after July 1st, 2011
16s: next year - 10th grade or younger AND born on or after July 1st, 2010
17s: next year - 11th grade or younger AND born on or after July 1st, 2009
18s: next year - 12th grade or younger AND born on or after July 1st, 2008 (wavered players allowed only at 18s)

Opportunity and Quality
North Storm is working to strengthen volleyball north of Liberty and in NW Missouri overall by providing an affordable club experience. We have many educator-coaches and strive to provide an educational experience, stressing fundamentals, teamwork, and competitiveness. We want to build confidence, good volleyball, and great memories.
* 2022 18-1 Team made it to Nationals in Arizona where they placed 22nd under Coach John Hamann.

Balance
Our club balances volleyball with time for other sports, family, and/or jobs. We practice twice a week with 6-8 tournaments. The tournament schedule is determined by each coach and can be customized to each team's needs.
* This club is designed for players who want to compete, but who are not necessarily focused on getting a bid to Nationals.
* This means we do NOT have the high costs of traveling to Colorado, Indy or Minneapolis. HOWEVER, any individual team could decide to do this.
